Alles, was wir uns in der Vergangenheit schwer erkämpfen mussten, hinterlässt gewisse Spuren auf unserer „zerbrechlichen“ Seele, doch sollten wir deshalb die Hoffnung auf eine bessere Zukunft nicht verlieren und dran denken, dass wir in der Gegenwart oft schon die Weichen für die vor uns liegende Zeit stellen können.
In diesem Sinne, dieses Jahr ein etwas nachdenkliches Lied von mir zu Weihnachten – „Fragile“.

Warum denn immer "NUR" zu Weihnachen einen Lieben, Guten, Gesundheits u.s.w. Gruß zu richen?

To All on Christmas Eve,
I sent this message out in the year 2000. I cannot believe that 7 years that
have flown by. I send this out to you again in the spirit of love and
caring.
A Christmass Message
This is not a typo. Christmas should be the time of Christ Mass. Am I losing
it? Has Stephen gone off the deep end? Bear with me on my interpretation
of Christmass.
Mass is a word with many connotations. It conveys heaviness, weight and
substance. At Christmas time, we must look at the substance of our lives.
How full of life are we? How much of the wonder of life touches us? How full
of gratitude are we to be part of this miracle? Do we live each moment with an attitude of gratitude?
Mass conveys a coming together or congregation. At this time of the year we are especially feeling our need to be united, to be together. We travel to be with our family, to visit with friends and to send greetings of caring
and love. This spirit of Christmass must be part of our lives for the
remaining 364 days of the year. To invoke this philosophy (knowledge of
love) only on a holiday (Holy day) reduces our humanity and our chance to
evolve spiritually.
Our humanity lies in our human unity. The word "humanity" is a contracture
of the words human and unity. Humanity is a reflection of the
inter-connectedness of the creation. It is the microcosm within a larger
microcosm and so on until we are at a cosmic level. In other words, the
lives of our cells are mirrored in the relationships in our family,
community, society, nation, hemisphere, planet, galaxy and universe. In
today's world of technologic advances it is reflected in the "inter-net" and
the "world wide web". These forms of communication are calling out for human unity and implore us to come together with our creativity and our heart strings. It is time for humankind to depart from an anthropocentric
perspective & embrace & live a cosmocentric view.
Lastly, mass connotes solemnity, grace, specialness and sensitivity. This
inner light of love and warmth is the essence of Christ. Christ is a
metaphor for humankind and its salvation both spiritually and materially.
If we do not succeed and evolve as sentient beings, full of wonder at all
the creation, of desire to see a unity of the Father (heavens), the Son
(earth) and the Holy Spirit (the "inner-net" which brings all together), if
the reverence for every bit of life escapes our consciousness, if we fail to
embrace and care for our fellow travelers, we miss the revelation of Christ
Mass.
With all of this expressed, I wish you and all of those in your life a
Christmas today, tomorrow and every day of your lives.
